Low-Observable USV / Stealth USV (Unmanned Surface Vehicle)
RC35 is a 3.5-metre rescue vessel designed for the Aegean. Its mission is to reach a person in the water, release flotation or supplies nearby and continue past them.

Projected performance / Proposed prototype
- Top speed in calm water
- ≈31 kn
- Mission radius at 15 kn
- 72–98 nmi
- Endurance at 15 kn
- 9.6–13 h
- Design payload
- 50 kg
These are design estimates. The mission radius allows for the return leg and a 20% fuel reserve. Sea trials are pending.
Performance comparison
Speed in context
RC35 targets the same 30-knot speed class as a leading competing vessel. For a rescue mission, the other critical figure is how far the vessel can travel and still return with fuel in reserve.
The arrow marks an open-ended published figure. The two speeds come from different operating conditions.
Mission planning
Out and back
At a 15-knot cruise, the proposed configuration has a modelled return radius of 72–98 nautical miles. The chart shows how the estimate evolved from the earlier RC35 design.
Both estimates use a 15-knot cruise, a return leg and a 20% fuel reserve. The pale blue segment extends to the upper estimate.
